Kriti Sanon recently celebrated her win at the IIFA Awards night as she walked away with the Best Actress Award for Mimi. Thrilled about it, the actress also has some interesting projects in pipeline. One of them includes her reuniting with her Luka Chuppi co-actor Kartik Aaryan as the duo will feature together in Shehzada. Needless to say, the two of them share a great camaraderie off screen too. While Kartik was neck deep in promotions of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kriti had asked him to slow down and the actor recently revealed that he was COVID positive. Speaking about exclusively to Bollywood Hungama, Kriti also added about how relieved she is to see things go back to normal.

Bhushan Kumar had once told us that Kriti Sanon asked Kartik Aaryan to stop promotions of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 after the actor extensively went on a promotional spree for the horror-comedy. When asked Kriti Sanon about the same, she responded to Bollywood Hungama saying, “Maine usse promotions bandh karne ko kaha aur usse Covid ho gaya.” For readers who are unaware, during the weekend, Kartik took to social media to announce that he was tested Covid positive.

During the earlier days of COVID, Kriti Sanon too had expressed concern for her family when the virus spread was at its peak. But now that things are turning back to normal, Kriti seems much more relaxed. “It’s amazing that there are so many performances and it’s amazing that there are so many faces without masks. Though Covid is going is here to stay but it’s a new normal we need to get used to. Honestly Covid is going to be like flu. You get it, get over it, and you move on. I am glad to see that life is back on track.”
