Liger marks the first pan India film of Ananya Panday in which the actress shares screen space opposite South hottie Vijay Deverakonda. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, the Bollywood actress spoke about her love for sense of humour, her take on social media trolling she faces and the ways she deals with it.
Talking about tackling social media trolling of every now and then, Ananya said, “I think it depends on the day you know obviously I can't see that I take it so strongly every day. Some days, I read one thing and I do get upset because I'm also a human at the end of the day.”
She continued, “But usually, I like to take it to it with a pinch of salt like for me sense of humor is the most important thing. It's something that I've taken from my dad because he has such thick skin when it comes to things like this. So, I like giving answers back. I like that banter and everything, I enjoy it.”
Speaking of Liger, the film is directed by Puri Jagannadh along with Ananya Panday as the leading lady. The film also features American boxing legend Mike Tyson along with Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy playing pivotal roles in this action entertainer. It features Vijay in the role of a boxer with Ramya as his mother.
Liger is now playing in theaters in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
