In the clip, Bobby reflects on Dharmendra’s remarkable journey, describing him as someone who “lived the way he wanted to,” comparing him to the Frank Sinatra song ‘I Did It My Way’. Speaking about the bond fans continue to share with the family, he said his father’s warmth and authenticity kept people connected to him for decades.

“He never met anyone like a star meeting someone,” Bobby said. “He always met people as a human being. He has done so much for so many, and always from the heart. That’s why the love for the Deols has existed till today.”

Bobby also recalled recent conversations with his father, sharing that Dharmendra often received calls from admirers praising Bobby’s work. “He was proud of me. I wanted my parents to see me succeed because they saw my journey from the start. I went through a tough phase, but I wanted him to see that I worked hard and reached where I am.”

He spoke warmly about family memories and old photographs, calling Dharmendra “the most handsome man ever.” Bobby remembered moments from his childhood, including attending outdoor shoots with his father, celebrating birthdays in Goa, and even shooting a small part for Dharam Veer as a child: “They made my outfit overnight and the next day I was shooting. I even dubbed for the film.”

Reflecting on his father watching Aashram, Bobby shared, “He finally told me, now you’ve found yourself. You’ve understood yourself as an actor. I wanted to hear that from him, and it made everything special.”

The actor also touched on the recent success that both he and Sunny Deol have witnessed. “We look at each other like we’re dreaming. It feels surreal how things changed in one year for all of us. I think it’s the blessings I get because of my father and my mother-in-law, who’s no longer with us.”

Bobby added that the affection he receives from the public often leaves him overwhelmed. “Wherever I go, people say when I succeed, they feel happy. They say I deserve progress and success. I keep thinking, why should I complain about anything? There is so much love out there for me. I feel blessed.”

The tribute video, combined with the family’s heartfelt messages, has offered fans a poignant reminder of Dharmendra’s enduring legacy—one shaped not just by his iconic films, but by the deep affection he inspired as a person.
