EXCLUSIVE: Bachchhan Paandey star Akshay Kumar reveals if he will act in Kriti Sanon’s film : Bollywood News

On the occasion of Holi this year, Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Arshad Warsi and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Bachchhan Paandey is all set to hit the theatres. Ahead of the film's release, its cast is going all out to promote their upcoming film. Recently, on March 09, Akshay Kumar along with Kriti Sanon, Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Farhad Samji addressed a press conference in Mumbai.

In the film, Kriti Sanon plays the role of a filmmaker and while addressing the media, Kriti was asked who's the one actor she'd love to make a film on, or a biopic on the real-life of an actor from the industry. Without taking any time, Kriti took her Bachchhan Paandey co-star, Akshay Kumar’s name elaborating that his life would be really interesting to translate on screen, given all the struggles he has gone through.

Now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, the star cast of Bachchhan Paandey finally revealed if Kriti's film on Akshay is materialising or not. During the conversation, Akshay Kumar said, "Yes, I had a word with her after that and she said that I'll get a script soon. Replying to it Kriti said, "I don't think so he trusts me as a director."

To which, Arshad Warsi hilariously interrupted and said, "inki kahani me wo ready nahi hai, unke budget me yw ready nahi hai. So, picture nahi banegi. (In her story, he is not ready and in his budget, she is not ready. So, the film is not materialising). After this Kriti also said, "I'm not the producer, We'll find and get one."

Helmed by Farhad Samji Bachchhan Paandey is all set to release on March 18, 2022, in theatres.
