Liger marks the first pan India film of Ananya Panday in which the actress will be sharing screen space opposite South hottie Vijay Deverakonda. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, we saw Ananya speaking about her co-star fondly and also talking about the things his fans need to know about Vijay.

Talking about Vijay’s heart melting fanbase she witnessed during their film’s promotions, Ananya said, “I remember we entered this mall and then there were like 40,000 people or something.”

She continued, “I'm like Vijay they are here for you and he's like no, it's not possible and they’re going ‘Vijay! Vijay!’ And I was like ‘My name is not Vijay so they're obviously here for you. His fans have so much purity in their love like I've seen girls cry and they just wanted him to say hi, it's not even anything else. Just look at them to say hi.” Vijay then adds, “I hope all of them watch the movie though.” Ananya then replies, “I’m sure they will."

Speaking of Liger, the film is directed by Puri Jagannadh along with Ananya Panday as the leading lady. The film also features American boxing legend Mike Tyson along with Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy playing pivotal roles in this action entertainer. It features Vijay in the role of a boxer with Ramya as his mother.

Liger is now playing in theaters in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
