He has become national news of sorts since the day he was born and why wouldn’t he be. After all, Taimur Ali Khan is born to a Pataudi royal family and the prestigious Bollywood khandaan Kapoors. So it doesn’t come as a surprise when his first birthday has become a cynosure of media eyes.

Although as Karisma Kapoor had revealed in an event that Taimur Ali Khan’s first birthday which falls on December 20, will strictly be a private affair, let us also tell you that the celebrations will not be held in Mumbai but in the palatial property of Saif Ali Khan in Pataudi. Yes, the Nawab’s royal palace that has often made it to several magazines for its historic and modern blend of architecture will be the venue for Taimur’s first birthday bash which will be attended by family members.

While the proud parents Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are maintaining distance from social media, it is the maasi [maternal aunt] Karisma Kapoor who has been giving us small sneak peeks into their lives. The Kapoors, we hear have already joined Kareena, Saif and Taimur in Pataudi as the preparations for the birthday bash are already on full swing.

Sharing another image which featured Taimur taking a tractor ride with Saif, Karisma posted, "Enjoying the village life #familyovereverything #familygoals #birthdaycountdown #pataudidiaries".

Amidst all the hoopla, we even spotted Taimur accompanying his ‘papa’ Saif during a horse riding session at Pataudi. Sharing a picture of the same was Karisma, who captioned it saying, “#prebirthdaycelebrations #babynawab #familyfun #perfectpic.” She also posted a picture with the famous couple Kareena and Saif saying, “#lazymondaysbelike#familyfun #pataudidiaries.”

Besides family, we hear that the said celebrations will boast of some celebrities from the fraternity which includes the Arora sisters – Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora Ladak, Karan Johar amongst others who are a part of Kareena [fondly known as Bebo]’s gang. It is yet to be known if Karan will be accompanied by his new-borns Yash and Roohi.
