Not too long ago, we had reported that Sunny Deol’s second son Rajveer Deol and model turned actress Paloma Dhillon, daughter of Poonam Dhillon, will be making their debut together in Dono. Providing a launching pad for these two star kids is the upcoming filmmaker from the house of Rajshri, Avnish Barjatya, son of renowned Sooraj Barjatya. Considering the star kids coming together, the trailer launch for this romantic drama was highly awaited and it was held on September 4 in Mumbai amidst much fanfare.
At the recently held trailer launch of the upcoming film Dono, star kid Paloma Dhillon couldn’t hold back the overwhelming feeling of being launched. The actress seems to have unexpectedly got emotional while sharing her thoughts on the film's journey. In a heartfelt moment, she revealed, "This film has been a journey of a lifetime for me." She poured out her emotions as she expressed gratitude to the entire team of the film as she continued, "Every day on the set was a learning experience, and I couldn't have asked for a better team to be a part of. Dono is not just a film; it's an emotional journey for all of us."
Going by the trailer, Paloma’s character is expected to be that of an urban, independent woman who is afraid of rejection and discusses about the same with Rajveer, who she meets at her friend’s wedding. They develop a unique friendship, supporting each other as they attempt to navigate through feelings of pain and love.
Directed by Avnish Barjatya, Dono is a romantic drama set against the backdrop of a destination wedding. The film is set to hit theatres next month on October 5.
