Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, director Aditya Dhar and producers Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios and Lokesh Dhar of B62 Studios, attendee the trailer launch of Dhurandhar at Mumbai's iconic Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. The team of the film spoke highly about debutant Sara Arjun.

Jyoti Deshpande said, “She packs a punch in the film and she holds her own. She's also one of the Dhurandhar's!”

Aditya Dhar revealed, “Mukesh Chhabra did 1300 auditions. She was brilliant and the best of all. She's going to be a rockstar!”

Ranveer Singh stated, “I am lucky to be a part of such a special moment for her. There are some child prodigies who you know (will excel as an adult). Many years ago, Dakota Fanning had emerged in Hollywood. Sara, it's testament to the fact that you beat thousands of candidates to bag this part. It's as if you were born to do this. It seems like she has done 50 films before. She is one of the finest actors I have shared screen space with.”

Ranveer Singh also said, “I am so happy that I got to be a part of something where we are trying to push for something more and take our cinema to the world. I think it's India's moment on the world stage and we want to be at the centre of it. It's a complex layered story with such technical finesse that aapke hosh ud jaayenge!”

He added, “When Aditya sir narrated me the story, main hakka-bakka reh gaya. I was like ‘Aisa hota hai kya?’. He replied, ‘Haan beta. Aisa bhi hota hai’! As the slate says, it is an incredible true story. Aapke hosh udd jaayenge. It's engaging, gripping, tense, entertaining throughout.”

Ranveer Singh further said, “What I like about it is that it's massy without trying to be massy. It is absolutely impeccably credible yet absolutely commercial. It hits the sweet spot that we always aspire for in commercial cinema.”

Dhurandhar releases in cinemas on December 5.
