Bhansali's desi version of Romeo and Juliet, Ram Leela, is a period drama set in the interiors of Kutch, which will see the otherwise trendy and glamorous actors donning village outfits.
A glimpse of the male lead of the film was captured recently during the shoot. Ranveer Singh was spotted on the set of the film wearing the traditional Gujarati attire comprising of 'kediyu' and the traditional Gujarati jacket, dhoti and a turban, along with some accessories and rings that represents the rural culture.
Ram Leela also has Deepika Padukone playing the female lead and is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film is set for a post-Diwali release on November 15.
