Akshay Kumar has always honoured the soldiers and made sure their dedicated work towards the country is highly appreciated. In the honour of the soldiers, the actor attended the 18th Kargil Vijay Diwas function at Chauhan Auditorium in Mumbai on Wednesday.

Akshay Kumar was the chief guest at the Kargil Vijay Diwas event where he paid homage to the Kargil martyrs. Akshay Kumar lit the lamp and proceeded to meet the soldiers. He shared a photograph from the event and wrote, "On this 18th #KargilVijayDiwas, my salute to all our brave soldiers for their sacrifices for our country. Aap hain to hum hain."

On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be seen in Shree Narayan Singh’s Toilet- Ek Prem Katha with Bhumi Pednekar. It is scheduled to release on August 11. After that, Akshay Kumar has R. Balki’s PadMan, Reema Kagti’s Gold, Gulshan Kumar’s biopic and Rajinikanth starrer 2.0.
