Actor Sunny Deol recently treated fans to a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the sets of Border 2, sharing a candid moment from Dehradun that perfectly blended humour, resilience, and signature Sunny-style charm. Taking to Instagram Stories, the veteran actor offered a short video from the rain-drenched location, capturing the spirit of the cast and crew as they dealt with an unexpected weather interruption.

“We started early in the morning but it started raining. It was not supposed to rain. Now everyone is here and we don’t know what to do,” Sunny is heard saying in the video. Unfazed by the early morning delay, the actor added a reassuring message to the production team, saying, “Don’t get worried, I am there till we don’t finish the film.”

Despite the shoot being temporarily paused due to the downpour, the crew made the most of the situation. Turning to the comfort of hot pakoras and chai, the cast and crew took shelter from the rain and indulged in some bonding, giving fans a glimpse of the warm and grounded energy that seems to surround the making of the film. Sunny’s caption - “Make hay while the sun shines… and have pakoras and chai when it rains!” - summed up the mood on set and struck a relatable chord with fans.

Border 2 is one of the most anticipated sequels in recent times, aiming to carry forward the patriotic legacy of J.P. Dutta’s 1997 war epic Border.
