To this, Salman quickly interjected with his own take, saying, “Maine kahan banaye hain kisi ki career. Career banane waala toh upar waala hai (I haven’t made anyone’s career. The one who makes careers is God)”.

Their playful exchange had the audience in splits, but Salman also used the moment to elaborate on it. He continued, “Laanchan bhi daala hai ki kitno ke dubaaye hai. Specially dubaane waale toh mere haath mein hai hi nahi. Lekin aaj kal sab chalta hai na ki career khaa jaayega. Kaunsa career khaaya maine? Par agar khao na toh main apna khud ka career khaa jaunga (Accusations have also been made that I have ruined many people’s careers. Especially ruining someone’s career is not even in my hands. But these days, people say things like ‘he will eat up someone’s career.’ Which career have I eaten? And if I do, I’ll only end up eating my own career)”.

Interestingly, earlier this week, a new set of accusations were made by filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap, who alleged that Salman and his family were “goons” manipulating the industry for decades. We wonder if the actor will be responding to the major allegations directed at him!
