Milind Soman, widely known for his iconic modelling career and fitness persona, recently opened up about an unexpected aspect of his experience on Four More Shots Please! during a conversation at the Bollywood Hungama OTT Fest 2025. The actor revealed that, despite his long-standing comfort in front of the camera, he actually felt objectified while working on the popular web series.

Speaking candidly, Milind said, “My character was this calm, supportive, and undeniably charming gynaecologist. But there were moments on set where I realised the camera—and sometimes even the people around me—were focusing more on how I looked than what I was doing.” He added with a smile, “It was strange because I’ve been on shoots where I was the one noticing actresses being objectified. Experiencing it from the other side was eye-opening.”
He explained that the experience gave him a fresh perspective on the industry. “Being in that position, even for a short time, helped me understand what many women go through regularly. It made me realise how subtle—and sometimes unintentional—objectification can be during shoots,” Milind reflected.
The audience’s response to his character only amplified the effect. Milind shared, “After the show came out, people kept coming up to me, calling me their ‘favourite gynaecologist.’ At first, I laughed, but then I realised how deeply viewers connect an actor to their on-screen persona. It’s fascinating, but it also made me think about the assumptions people make.”
Through his reflections, Milind offered a nuanced take on gender dynamics and on-screen representation. “I think it’s important to talk about this, even from a male perspective,” he said. “It’s not just about women; objectification can affect anyone, and acknowledging it helps us all be more aware of the way we view and present people on screen.”
By sharing his experience, Milind Soman has contributed to a broader conversation about performance, perception, and the often-overlooked pressures actors face, regardless of gender.
