On Aparshakti’s birthday, Ayushmann once again reminded fans why the Khurrana brothers are a favourite on social media. The actor shared a warm and humorous post featuring a behind-the-scenes video, offering a glimpse into their real-life camaraderie from ad shoots they’ve worked on together.

Along with the clip, Ayushmann wrote, “Happy birthday to the world’s best brother @aparshakti_khurana ?? I love you!!!! And he came up with this best song today! ?? ?? #Pahadaan”. The heartfelt caption paired with the fun BTS moments quickly struck a chord with fans, who flooded the comments with love for the duo.

Ayushmann has often spoken about the special bond he shares with his younger brother. In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, he expressed how meaningful it would be for both of them to come together in the same cinematic universe. “One thing is for sure, that I was always a fan of mad and horror-comedy heroes. I have seen all their films. And my brother is in Stree, in Stree 2. So, I always had that I should also be a part of it. And somewhere, we should meet ahead, both our brothers,” he had said.

For the unversed, Aparshakti has been a fan favourite in the Stree franchise, where he plays Bittu — the best friend of Rajkummar Rao and Abhishek Banerjee’s characters. His presence in the films has been integral to the narrative and the humour, making him one of the standout performers in the horror-comedy space which now also includes Ayushmann Khurrana. In fact, in a fun crossover moment, Ayushmann’s recent release Thamma even referenced Aparshakti’s character, with Abhishek Banerjee’s cameo featuring him addressing Ayushmann’s character, Alok Goyal, as ‘Bittu’ hinting at the brothers sharing similar features.
