Shah Rukh Khan, who shares a deep bond with several actors in the industry, hosted an interesting Ask SRK session earlier this week where several fans decided to ask the star about his recent release and upcoming releases. Amid many of them discussing his professional life, there were a few who decided to share their thoughts and ask the actor about other aspects as well. Among them was a cricket fan, who was keen on knowing the opinion the Jawan megastar had about former Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli.

Fans of the superstar will be aware that Shah Rukh Khan frequently finds opportunities to interact with his fans on social media and in the recent session, as he was seen answering several questions related to his upcoming film Dunki, one of the fans said, “Sir say something about @imVkohli because everyday we are watching some fan war posts between them. Have some words in #Jawan style about Kohli. @iamsrk #AskSRK”. Abiding by the request, fan favourite Vikram Rathod aka Shah Rukh Khan responded in quintessential filmy style, saying, “I love @imVkohli he is like my own and I pray always for his well being….bhai damaad jaisa hai humaara!!! (bro is like my son-in-law).”

For the unversed, Virat Kohli is married to Anushka Sharma, who made her Bollywood debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in YRF’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. In fact, the actors went on to do several films like Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Jab Harry Met Sejal and even Zero, which the actress did after tying the knot with Virat and was also incidentally, her last theatrical release.

On the other hand, after the grand success of two back-to-back releases, Shah Rukh Khan is now gearing up Dunki, co-starring Taapsee Pannu and it is directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
