In her conversation with Filmfare, Anushka opened up about their relationship, saying, “I’m married to my best friend. I’m married to my confidant. I’m married to someone I love so dearly just because of the human being that he is. When we’re together, the world ceases to exist.”

Anushka Sharma cleared up a common misconception about Virat Kohli, explaining that while he may appear intense on the cricket field, he's actually very calm and peaceful in real life. She also shared how little time they had together after their marriage, saying, “During the first six months of our marriage, we spent 21 or 22 days together… We were hardly together in Mumbai. In fact, the staff at home gets so happy whenever they see us together at home.”

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are currently living a peaceful life in London, away from the hustle and bustle of glitz and glamour. They relocated from India in 2024 but continue to visit the country for work commitments.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli first met in 2013 while shooting for a television commercial. The two quickly fell in love but kept their relationship private. The couple got married in a small, intimate ceremony in December 2017 in Italy, away from the public eye. Their wedding was a beautiful, low-key affair, attended only by close family and friends. In January 2021, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Vamika, and in 2024, they had a son named Akaay. Currently, the couple splits their time between Mumbai and London.

Virat Kohli is currently playing in the IPL 2025 as a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore.
