After gaining much stardom with Pushpa, Rashmika Mandanna is now receiving love from all across the nation with her recent release Animal making record breaking business. The actress essayed the character of Gitanjali who falls in love with the character of Ranvijay Singh, essayed by Ranbir Kapoor and elopes to get married to him. Apart from the unanimous love, the actress also received a lot of concern and sympathy from fans who saw how her role transformed throughout in the film. Representing the roller-coaster of these emotions, a fan decided to recreate the song 'Pehle Bhi Main' from the film and penned down a cover version from Gitanjali's perspective.
The song traces the journey of the character of Gitanjali Iyengar aka Geeta, and talks about her love, heartbreak, and emotions which are presented through the musical version of the song. The cover version caught the attention of the actress and she couldn't stop raving about it on social media. Taking to her Instagram, Rashmika penned down showering her love for the song saying, "The lyrics man!!!! My god!! How beautifully you've described a broken heart.. Listening to you made me tear up. If you make a full cover song of this.. send it to me.. I'd love to have it in my playlist. @thethesislive Much love!"
Animal also starred Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Triptii Dimri, among others in pivotal roles and released on December 1. Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna has an exciting lineup of big films for the upcoming year which includes D-51, Rainbow, Chaava, and a thriller film, The Girlfriend in the pipeline. The actress also has Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule, that will release on August 15, 2024.
