Amitabh Bachchan resumes work after a short break with a new blog post: “On the work front again”

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently shared that he has resumed work after a brief pause. In a post on his blog, he mentioned that his work mode is now back on, and he's keeping busy with his professional commitments after taking some time off.

“On the work front again… was a pause before the action… but now again on the front... and more,” Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog, indicating that he's back to his professional duties after a short break.

Amitabh Bachchan was last seen on screen in the 2024 action drama Vettaiyan, directed by T. J. Gnanavel. In the film, Rajinikanth plays the role of Athiyan, a senior police officer who accidentally shoots an innocent person during an encounter while investigating the murder of a teacher. The film also stars Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Abhirami, and Ramesh Thilak.

On May 13, Amitabh Bachchan dedicated a poem by his late legendary father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, to the Indian jawans. The poem emphasized that their actions should speak volumes to the enemy, delivering a powerful message without the need for words.

“Jai Hind Jai Hind Ki Sena," Amitabh Bachchan wrote, and also shared a powerful poem by his legendary father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan. The poem read:

“O hamaare vajra-durdam desh ke vikshubdh-krodhaatur jawaano! Kitkitakar aaj apne vajra ke-se dant bheencho, khade ho, aage badho, upar chadho, be-kanth khole. Bolna ho to tumhaare haath ki do choten bolen!”

The words urged the Indian jawans to stand strong, move forward, and let their actions speak louder than words.

The thespian then shared: “And the words of Poojya Babuji resound... loud and clear... and in reverberation... from every element of the Country... from every corner...” His words reflected the deep impact and resonance of his father's message, echoing across the nation.

Sharing the meaning, Amitabh Bachchan wrote: “Oh! The angered and dedicated Jawans of the Country... clench your teeth... stand up and move forward... upward and beyond... without giving any voice... if you have to speak... may the sound be heard of your slaps registered on the face of the enemy!!" His words emphasized the power of action over words, urging the jawans to let their strength and determination speak for them.

Operation Sindoor is the code name for the precise and strategic retaliatory strikes carried out by the Indian armed forces on May 7. The operation targeted nine key terror installations across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, aiming to neutralize terrorist threats.
