Shah expressed his grief on social media, sharing a deeply emotional tribute that highlighted the actor’s unmatched contribution to Indian cinema. He wrote in Hindi, “The demise of Dharmendra ji, who touched the hearts of every countryman with his best acting for 6 decades, is an irreparable loss for the Indian film world. Coming from a humble family, he made his indelible identity in the film industry. Dharmendra ji was one of those selected actors who brought every character he played to life, and through this art, he won the hearts of crores of viewers of all age groups. Through his acting, he will always remain among us. May God give the departed soul a place at His feet and give his family and fans the strength to bear this grief. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.”

With over 300 films to his credit, Dharmendra redefined the essence of the Hindi film hero—combining strength, warmth, sensitivity, and charm. His roles in Ayee Milan Ki Bela, Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Dharam Veer, and other cinematic gems remain unforgettable.

The actor will make his final on-screen appearance in the upcoming war drama Ikkis, featuring Agastya Nanda. Maddock Films had released his character poster, giving fans one last glimpse of the legend.

Fondly known as Bollywood’s “He-Man,” Dharmendra leaves behind a legacy that shaped generations of actors and cinephiles. Tributes continue to pour in from across the entertainment industry, reflecting the vast influence he carried both on and off the screen. His memory, like his films, will continue to inspire for decades to come.
