Celebrating his milestone 60th birthday, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan once again showed his signature humour and charm by responding to an outpouring of heartfelt wishes from friends and colleagues across the entertainment and political spectrum. Shah Rukh’s replies, witty as ever, sparked a wave of affection from fans and celebrities alike.

Responding to veteran actor Anupam Kher’s tribute video, Shah Rukh hinted at another screen collaboration: “Thank u @AnupamPKher for the heartfelt video. Big hugs and lots of love to you always. Some of the fondest memories in my journey of films are with you. I hold you in the highest regard. Love u. (And yes, we must find ways to spend more time… maybe a film would be nice).”
Akshay Kumar’s musical birthday wishes prompted playful banter, with Shah Rukh writing, “Thank u, Akki, for singing Happy Birthday to me… you've taught me the secret to looking good and thinking smart. Ab Khiladi ki taraah jaldi uthna bhi sikhaade (Now teach me how to wake up early like a Khiladi). Ha ha.”
Shah Rukh’s reply to politician Shashi Tharoor’s tweet, which compared his youthful looks to Benjamin Button, combined humour and admiration: “Thank u… Although I'm sure you will be around to see me playing the 'child star'… and I will copy your hairstyle then. Ha ha..”
He also acknowledged warm wishes from Mohanlal, Kajol, Shatrughan Sinha, and Kamal Haasan, saying of Kajol’s advice, “Took your advice… didn't count the candles. In fact, didn't even put them. Ha ha.. love you too much!” To Kamal Haasan, who called him a “King who never needed a crown,” Shah Rukh replied, “Thank you, sir. A lot of what I've learnt, I've learnt from you. You are always an inspiration.”

Shah Rukh was equally gracious with Shatrughan Sinha, saying, “Shukriya Shatrugan ji… I can write paragraphs of praise about you, but I know you will ask me to be 'khamosh (quiet)' if I go overboard… thank you.”
Fans can look forward to seeing Shah Rukh Khan in his next film, King, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures and directed by Siddharth Anand. Slated for release in 2026, the ensemble cast boasts Suhana Khan’s big-screen debut alongside Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Abhay Verma.
