Bollywood actor Aayush Sharma sheds light on the challenges he faced in his journey in the film industry despite being part of one of Bollywood's prominent film families as Salman Khan's relative. Aayush Sharma acknowledges the privilege but also emphasizes the importance of constant effort.
While some may assume that Aayush had an effortless path to stardom, he, like many others, had his own share of struggles. Recognizing his background, Aayush Sharma told Hindustan Times, “I know I’m married into a film family but that’s different. I saw the industry from the outside and it looked very glamourous. I felt things will be easy after the launch. I felt that one movie will change my life. However, that was the biggest bubble that was burst.”
He stressed that a launch can provide a platform for an actor, but they must consistently prove themselves every week when their movies release. For him, the primary focus is on his work. He shared, “For me, working in a film is important. Besides that, I don’t find it very necessary to get clicked on a daily basis or to be in the spotlight constantly. I think, just work is important today. And if you’re doing good work, they’ll (audiences) remember you.”
Aayush Sharma's debut film, Loveyatri, a romantic comedy with Warina Hussain, led to him being typecast as a chocolate boy, even though he aspired to work in action films. To break free from this stereotype, he decided to display his well-toned physique during a narration for a romantic film to show that he was also capable of action roles. “I remember there was a time when the narration for a romantic film was to happen and that was the time when I had started working on my body. I got to know that the same production house is also making an action film. So, I wore a Ganji and went to the narration so as to give them a perception that I can do an action-packed film as well,” Aayush Sharma recalled.
For the unversed, Arpita, the youngest child in the family, is the adopted daughter of screenwriter Salim Khan and actor Helen. After dating for a considerable period, Aayush Sharma tied the knot with Arpita Khan on November 18, 2014. The couple has been blessed with two children, namely Ayat Sharma and Ahil Sharma.
On professional front, Aayush will be next seen in Katyayan Shivpuri directorial, Ruslaan. The film unveiled its official trailer on April 21. Alongside Aayush Sharma, the movie also features the debutant actress Sushrii Mishraa in the lead role. The release of the trailer generated an overwhelmingly positive response from the audience, who were captivated by the unique character portrayed by Aayush Sharma. The actor also has Karan Lalit Butani's directorial Kwatha in his pipeline. The film also features Isabelle Kaif.
