JioHotstar has announced its upcoming romantic-revenge drama Ziddi Ishq, a story that delves into the depths of love, heartbreak, and obsession. Starring Aaditi Pohankar, Barkha Bisht, and Parambrata Chattopadhyay, the series is created and directed by Raj Chakraborty and will premiere exclusively on JioHotstar on November 21, 2025.
The teaser offers a glimpse into Mehul’s world, portrayed by Aaditi Pohankar — a woman who loves with all her heart, even when that love goes unreturned. For Mehul, Shekhar Da (played by Parambrata Chattopadhyay) is more than just the man she loves; he becomes a constant presence she cannot escape. The teaser captures her journey through fleeting moments — her friends teasing her about her one-sided love, her smile concealing heartbreak, and her emotions unraveling in quiet despair and intensity.
Director Raj Chakraborty shared his thoughts on the project, saying, “Working on Ziddi Ishq has been an incredible experience. It’s more than just a series — it’s a story about love, loss, and the thin line where affection turns into something darker. Mehul is a complex character, and Aaditi has portrayed her with great honesty and depth. Parambrata and the rest of the cast have also brought immense sincerity to their performances.
