As a part of the celebrations of 'The Joy of Giving Week' (Sept 26- Oct 2), various B-town celebrities are coming forward to do their bit for charity. The latest is Amitabh Bachchan who has planned his first ever lunch auction in association with Give India (a charitable organisation) to raise money for charity.
The online auction is live on ebay India and continues till Oct 2, after which the highest bidder will get a chance to lunch with Big B while the bid amount collected will be donated towards a charitable cause.
Win a chance to lunch with Big BThe Joy of Giving Week, organized by Give India, last year raised 1.2 million rupees by auctioning an opportunity to participate in a cricket coaching camp with the sport's leading run-scorer Sachin Tendulkar.
This year too, celebs such as Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and now Amitabh Bachchan are actively involved in charity auctions as a part of 'The Joy of Giving Week'.
