He may be new to film production, but well-known industrialist Vijaypat Singhania has learnt the ropes of film-making quickly. Singhania's first production WOH TERA NAAM THA, which was launched a few months ago, is complete and should hit the theatres in the Idd week [November 28]. Singhania launched the music of the film in style on Tuesday, October 21 at a suburban hotel, with the entire basement of the hotel resembling an era gone by [the story of W.T.N.T. is set in Bhopal in 1956]. Tongas, antiques, props and outfits worn by the characters in the film were on display for the select gathering. Before the launch, Singhania spoke of his experiences in the film industry. The film industry is age-old and one cannot change it overnight. I certainly am not here to change it. I have merely told a story in W.T.N.T. that is based on values I believe in, he told the elite gathering. Singhania said that one of the strong motivators to make this film was to send the right signals to the youth, who are fed up with films that promote flesh trade, mafia-ism and drug culture. People will watch this film with their families with pride, not with guilt and shame, he said. Incidentally, this is the second time that director Kuku Kohli has worked with a fresh cast. The first time was when he directed PHOOL AUR KAANTE, starring Ajay Devgan and Madhoo. Like PHOOL AUR KAANTE, where Vishal Devgan's name was changed to Ajay Devgan, Kohli has changed the name of the lead man in WOH TERA NAAM THA as well. Deepak Bajwa is being introduced as Arjan Bajwa.
