Sudhir Mishra’s Kal – Yesterday and Tomorrow : Bollywood News

Sudhir Mishra (Chameli, Calcutta Mail) is producing his next film Kal - Yesterday and Tomorrow to be directed by his erstwhile assistant Ruchi Narain. Prior to this, Ruchi co-wrote the screenplay of Mishra's earlier films like Calcutta Mail and Hazaron Khwaishein Aisi and had also penned the story of Sunhil Sippy's offbeat flick Snip. Kal - Yesterday and Tomorrow takes a peek into the life of society's rich and famous with its share of intrigue and suspense. Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming Page 3 is also said to be loosely based on somewhat similar theme. Kal stars yesteryear actress Sarika (who makes her comeback with Julie along with Smriti Mishra (who debuted with Sudhir Mishra's Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin). The supporting cast includes Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla, Raam Kapoor, Malaika and introduces two new talents - Chitrangada and Shiny Ahooja. The shooting of the film is complete and it's currently under the post-production stage. The film received much praise at its first screening at Cannes.
