A lot has been spoken and written about Farhan Akhtar's new project. In fact, almost two months ago, this writer broke the news about the trend-setting film-maker approaching SRK for his new project. Farhan refused to either acknowledge or deny the story.
So what's the truth? What is Farhan making next? I am still working on the script of my new film. I haven't thought of casting yet, Farhan informs me, Right now, I am all focussed on [sister] Zoya's film, which is expected to roll in February next year. Only after she's through with her film will I start mine.
Now the million dollar question: Is SRK starring in his next project? I really don't know how the news originated. You know me well enough by now, I wouldn't start a film till I have a bound script on my hands, he adds.
But he did approach the actor with a film offer, didn't he? Yes, I did. I wanted to know whether he had the time to take up fresh assignments. We did discuss the project, but nothing is confirmed yet, Farhan clarifies.
