After Priyanka Chopra‘s cousin sister Parineeti, yet another star sibling is all set to enter Bollywood. Sonakshi Sinha‘s cousin Bhavna Ruparel will now be making her Bollywood debut as a leading actress.
Bhavna, whose grandmother and Sonakshi’s grandmother were real sisters, will be seen as the leading lady in debutant director Pritish Chakraborty’s Chalo Pichchur Banate Hai (CPBH), which will release later this year.
CPBH is the story of a determined filmmaker, and tells his journey from a fourth assistant director to becoming a director. In the movie, Bhavna is paired opposite designer Reynu Tandon’s son Rahil Tandon, who made his debut with Red Chillies’ Men Will Be Men in 2011.
This is not Bhavna’s first stint with the camera, she played the role of a young Pooja Bedi in director Ken Ghosh’s music video ‘Pehla Nasha‘, when she was only eight years old. Bhavna was also seen in supporting roles in films like Na Tum Jano Na Hum and Jogger’s Park. She has also signed a yet-untitled Telugu film, which will commence shooting in November.
