After the critically acclaimed Lootera, Vikramaditya Motwane was thrilled about working with Gen-next star Imran Khan for his upcoming film Bhavesh Joshi. However, the actor who is on a break as his wife is pregnant with their first baby, had to be replaced by Sidharth Malhotra.
Recently, Imran expressed his unhappiness over quitting Motwane's film as he had to take a break for taking care of his wife Avantika and his baby. However, now, we hear that Sidharth will be filling in for the lead role. Apparently, Vikramaditya planned to rope in the actor after he was impressed with his performance in Hasee Toh Phasee.
Sidharth will be joining the shooting schedule of the film post his New York vacation.
