Sidharth Anand’s untitled film starring Sanjay Dutt shelved?

With Sanjay Dutt out of jail, several filmmakers were excited to work with him. Earlier, we had reported that Sanjay Dutt was all set to make a comeback with Sidharth Anand's project. But, it seems like we will have to wait for that film. It is now reported that Sidharth Anand's action-adventure film has been postponed.

The producers of Sanjay Dutt's film had confirmed that the untitled film was supposed to go on floors in August. However, as a lot of time was spent on scripting and production and because the lead actress was not been finalised, the makers decided to postpone the film. Reportedly, Athiya Shetty and Kriti Sanon were offered the lead roles but it didn't work out for them. The film is set to roll out in January 2017 with a new director.

It seems like Sidharth Anand's untitled film won't be Sanjay Dutt's comeback movie. Instead, Sanjay Dutt will be seen in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's sister Shelly Chopra's film.
