Shahid Kapur has competition at home! His 8-year-old brother Ishaan has followed in elder brother's footsteps and faced the camera as an actor. The film: Mahesh Manjrekar's LIFE HO TO AISI.
It so happened that Ishaan accompanied elder brother Shahid to the shoot of the film recently. Since the film revolves around a young guy [Shahid plays 'Chachu' in the film] and a bunch of kids, the director asked Shahid whether Ishaan would like to be a part of the kid-gang.
And before anyone knew, Ishaan had already started memorizing his dialogues, a proud Neelima Azeem, mother of Shahid and Ishaan, divulges.
In fact, so impressed was Manjrekar with Ishaan's natural performance that he has made Ishaan the main child artiste in the film. But mom dearest has decided that LIFE HO TO AISI will be his first and only cinematic outing till the child is old enough to take his own decisions.
Meanwhile, Neelima has decided to get back to acting after a hiatus. I'd given up acting all these years. There were responsibilities, plus the kids were growing up. But now that I have ample time on hand, I've decided to get back to acting, she informs.
In the meantime, Neelima can't stop singing praises of Shahid's work in Tips' FIDAA, directed by Ken Ghosh. Shahid is electrifying in the film. And his on-screen chemistry with Kareena is magical. He'll be regarded as an actor of repute after this film, she beams.
