Sanjay Gupta strives to do things differently all the time. For one of the songs of MUSAFIR, the stylish director hired a stretch limousine, one of its kind in the country, and shot an entire song inside this luxurious car.
Not just that, Gupta also flew down four Spanish models to Mumbai for the song in question.
It was Sanju's [Sanjay Dutt] idea, Gupta informs me. What's unique about the song is that the lyrics are in fact the dialogues delivered by Sanju in the film. In fact, Sanju himself has rendered the song.
The entire song was filmed in one day itself, but the pre-production took as many as three days, Gupta divulges.
Gupta, who is known for accepting challenges, has recorded the song in two versions. After Vishal-Shekhar recorded the track, DJ Aqeel re-produced the same in a faster, techno version, the young director divulges [the techno version has been filmed by Gupta].
