Earlier we had reported about Sanjay Dutt's donning a unique look for the remake of the 1973 hit film Zanjeer. And now, the news is that Dutt, who plays Sher Khan in the film, will be shooting additional sequences for the film.
Interestingly the makers are reworking the script of the film to increase the prominence of Sanjay Dutt in the film. Apparently, the reason behind this is that Dutt's new look as Sher Khan has attracted a lot of interest, prompting the makers to cash in on the popularity as well as do justice to Dutt's character.
Initially though Dutt's role in the film was quite small, the makers are adding a song and a few fight sequences featuring him. Confirming the development, director Apoorva Lakhia says, "He has given us extended dates and we are going to shoot with him in February."
