After working with Anil Kapoor for the first time in Musafir, Sanjay Dutt will now work with brother Boney Kapoor for the first time in Dost. Dutt will play the Good Samaritan in Boney Kapoor's next film Dost - My Best Friend to be co-produced by Pankaj Kharbanda. The film is to be directed by ad-filmmaker turned writer-director Veena Bakshi.
Dutt is the only one to be finalized as yet in the cast of the film. The story is about a six-year old girl who is separated from her parents in India and lands up with another couple in Romania. Sanjay Dutt meets him over there and helps the kid. The film to go on floors on June 23 will be mainly shot in Romania. Sanjay Dutt has no female lead opposite her in the film.
Meanwhile Boney Kapoor is also planning a film with director Nikhil Advani.
