Refugee's release has been postponed and it will now hit the theatres on June 16 instead of June 9. Insiders cite various reasons for postponing the release. The first and the foremost reason is the stiff competition from Josh and Jungle which are scheduled to release on the same Friday. While trade pundits rule out Jungle to hit the bulls eye, they are sure that Josh will fire on all cylinders and will turnout to be a hit. That led J.P. Dutta to think twice again before he decided to reschedule. Another reason doing the rounds is that the insiders who previewed the movie say that Kareena is so good and she will easily outshine the hero of the film, Abhishek Bachchan. When reports of this reached Amitabh, he panicked since it was a debut movie of his son and asked Dutta to have a special preview for him, after which he advised him cut off some of Kareena's shots on the editing table before it's release which has led to it's delay. Though we do not know which one is true, we will have to wait and watch till Refugee is out so that we can decide once and for all.
