The makers of LOOTERA, starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha, had announced the release date of the film [26 October] at the launch of the film itself, but it seems like the movie won't make it on the chosen date. Reason? Ranveer Singh's back problem has resulted in the shooting schedules of the film going haywire. Resultantly, it will take some time to procure the combination dates of its principal actors.
Swati Shetty of Balaji confirms that LOOTERA won't make it on 26 October due to Ranveer's back problem. "The doctors have advised him [Ranveer] complete bed-rest. He's expected to resume shootings by May-end. It means we won't be able to make it on 26 October, as planned initially. A fresh release date will be announced later," she states.
Reportedly, LOOTERA will now release in the first quarter of 2013.
