While on Ramgopal Varma, the director has denied he's starting a film called GEM. Reportedly, the film, starring newcomers, is to be directed by one of his assistants. Ramu laughs as you ask him of this new development. "Some people have this habit of fabricating news. I don't want to react to it," he guffaws. But Ramu does sound excited as he talks about the new hero he is introducing in one of his forthcoming films -- Mohit Alawat. "The boy's a star. He's one actor to watch," he says, as he shows me the pics of the guy. Rohit Jugraj, Ramu's assistant, will be directing the film, which is not titled yet.
