Priyanka Chopra’s Madamji will go on floor this month : Bollywood News

Entering the league of producers in Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra's debut production will be Madamji, which will be directed by her friend Madhur Bhandarkar, has faced a minor roadblock. The film which will bring together the duo after Fashion, was to go on floor in November but has now been pushed to mid-December.

Apparently, Priyanka Chopra wants to start with the film only once she wraps up the current schedule of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani in which she will be playing the role of Kashibai, the first wife of Bajirao. On the other hand, Madamji will portray the journey of an item girl turning into a politician and Priyanka Chopra will be seen as the protagonist. In fact, we hear that the actress is very excited to start with the project since she believes that Madhur is a fantastic writer and that they share a great rapport. Moreover, she is really looking forward to take up her role as a producer and expressed her wish to tell good stories that will entertain the audience.

Madamji will also be co-produced Ram Mirchandani.
