While David Dhawan is busy gearing up for the release of his film Chashme Baddoor on April 5, he may be in for a rude shock. PVR Pictures under its label PVR Director's Rare is re-releasing the original Chashme Buddoor in a digitally restored format on the same day (April 5).
The original Chashme Buddoor directed by Sai Paranjpye is a cult classic and is being re-released after over 3 decades. Farooque Sheikh, Deepti Naval, Rakesh Bedi and Ravi Baswani starred in the original Chashme Buddoor.
One will have to wait and watch if viewers go to watch the original classic or the modern remake on April 5.
