Munnabhai team is back

The successful jodi of MUNNABHAI M.B.B.S., Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi, who are also a part of MUNNABHAI MEETS MAHATMA GANDHI, have consented to do one more project. But unlike MUNNABHAI, which was a comedy, this ones a thriller. Nikhil Panchamiya, who had produced DIL MAANGE MORE [Shahid, Soha, Ayesha], will produce the project in question, which will be directed by Raj Kaushal [PYAAR MEIN KABHI KABHI, SHAADI KA LADDOO]. Besides Sanju and Arshad, the makers have roped in Minisha Lamba [YAHAAN] and Anusha Dandekar [VIRUDDH] as also Raghuveer Yadav for a key role. Nikhil is forthcoming when divulging details about the project. Let me clarify at the very outset, our film is not similar to MUNNABHAI. Both Sanju and Arshad have serious roles, but the situations they land into are amusing, he discloses. How did the project materialize? Raj and I go a long way. I was handling the production of Mukul S. Anands DUS [Sanju, Salman], while Raj was assisting Mukul in that film. We developed a rapport then. Much later, I was the E.P. on Rajs directorial debut PYAAR MEIN KABHI KABHI, he enlightens. Although Nikhil and Rajs endeavor isnt titled yet, theyve already chalked out the shooting plans. The film will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule in Thailand in February. Thats not all, for Nikhil plans to start two more projects thereafter. The first will star Abhay Deol and will be directed by Mukul Abhyankar [he was supposed to direct the Big B-Rishi Kapoor starrer DOGS] and a period film later [its details are under wraps presently].
