It seems like Bollywood is having its share of tribute to womanhood. While last week, it was the Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani, the coming week will see the release of the Priyanka Chopra starrer Mary Kom, a film that has been making news for all the right reasons.
Talking about Mary Kom, the latest update is that, the film which was earlier issued a U/A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), has now finally got 'U' certificate. Expressing their joy about the 'U' certification, while Priyanka Chopra tweeted, "Awesome! 'U' certificate! Family movie #MaryKom,", the film's director Omang Kumar tweeted, "Mary Kom gets a 'U' certificate. More reach to us."
Mary Kom, which is a biopic on the Olympic boxing winner Mary Kom, is scheduled to release on September 5 and is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali in collaboration with Viacom 18.
