Though it was primarily dance that Lauren Gotlieb was concentrating on when she visited India, it seems that she too has been bitten by the acting bug. After ABCD and ABCD 2 (both being dance films), Lauren is finally all set to get a taste of the real world of Bollywood, away from mentor Remo D'Souza. She has been signed for Vashu Bhagnani's Welcome to Karachi.
The film, which has already gone on floor with Jackky Bhagnani and Arshad Warsi in the lead, will see Lauren Gottlieb playing the role of an ISI agent. From what we hear, initially Nargis Fakhri was approached for the same but later Lauren Gottlieb was taken on board. On the other hand, excited about playing a badass Pakistani agent, the American dancer turned actress, added that she will be seen doing stunts in the film. It is also being said that producer Vashu Bhagnani has added another song to the album of the film after signing Lauren, and she will be seen shaking a leg with Jackky Bhagnani in the video of the track.
Lauren Gottlieb signed for Welcome To KarachiDirected by Ashish R Mohan, Welcome To Karachi is about two men who are stranded in Karachi without their passports and are kidnapped by the Taliban.
