It's a known fact that Karan Johar had penned the script of KAL HO NAA HO keeping Kareena Kapoor in mind. Reportedly, the two friends turned foes when Kareena asked for a certain fee for the film, which the Johars found too high. That's when Preity Zinta stepped in the project.

This particular incident is history now. For, the two Karan and Kareena have buried the hatchet and are back to being friends in real life. Yes, we've sorted out the misgivings, Karan tells me, Like all friends, our friendship has had its share of ups and downs. But all that is a thing of the past. So, will we see the two working together again? The topic of working together hasn't cropped up yet.

Meanwhile, Karan seems impressed with Kareena's performance in CHAMELI and even called her up to say so.
