Legendary director Kamal Amrohi created (and recreated) history with films like Pakeezah and Razia Sultan. And now his grandson is all set to follow his footsteps. Mashhoor, the son of Tajdar Amrohi and grandson of Kamal Amrohi, will be making his Bollywood debut with the film Hum Laakh Chhupayein PyaarMagar. And the young lad will be acting, directing and script writing, simultaneously! Mashhoor has acted in his fathers film, Ek Number Ka Chor, when he was barely six. And he wanted to become an actor ever since. His training included assisting Sohail Khan for Maine Dil Tujhko Diya and David Dhawan for Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. To be shot in Mumbai and Amsterdam, his film will be a lighthearted romance. He feels he is not experienced enough to make the kind of films his grandfather made. Incidentally, he has only seen Kamal Amrohis Pakeezah. He hopes to see all the other films, soon.
