Last Friday was indeed a black day for some of Bollywood's well known personalities, namely Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood and Sonu Nigam. The reason behind this was the Income Tax raids that were conducted at the residence of each of these artists.
The 22 hour long raid that happened at Dutt's Bandra residence, Sood's Andheri home and Nigam's pad in Andheri were the result of the red flags that were highlighted by the recent acquisitions of each of the celebs.
While for Dutt, it was his collection of custom made wristwatches, estimated to cost a few crores, that lured the IT officials, in case of Sood, it was his recent Rs. 30 crore worth property deal that flagged their attention. As for Nigam, it was apparently the recent concerts that he has been doing along with the flashy luxury cars in his garage that drew the attention of the IT officials.
