Gustad’s Mumbai Central faces railway problems : Bollywood News

Just when Boom(ed) director Kaizad Guztad was all set to start with his second film titled Mumbai Central, a problem erupted from the side of the railway authorities. Mumbai Central is a major railway terminal of the Western Railway line in Mumbai and Gustad's film is set against the backdrop of railway commutation. Gustad wanted permission to shoot on a train running between Churchgate and Virar on the Western Railway network between 9 am to 6 pm. But the railway authorities put down his request as they felt that it would lead to massive inconvenience to the railway commuters. The railway authorities usually permit film shoots for 30 minutes but Gustad's demand for nine hours of filming was quite unacceptable to them. Gustad's film ran into trouble even before, when actress Sandhya Mridul (Saathiya, Waisa Bhi Hota Hai) stepped out of the project. But going with what one saw in Boom, even this film seems to have its share of steamy moments, what with the current hot murderous babe Mallika Sherawat being roped in as Sandhya's substitute.
