Remo D'Souza and UTV-Disney's ABCD 2 just got itself a brand new song and dance. This brings the grand total songs and dances in this dance-fest of a film to 10. Apparently the 'Ganpati' song was shot with Shraddha (and we don't only mean the film's leading lady) and bhakti.
A source from the crew informs that during the days that the new 'Ganpati' song was shot, Remo, an ardent devotee of Ganesh ji, decided to not have any non-vegetarian food served on location. Not only that, he also instructed all dance crews not to wear shoes while shooting the song. "This song is one that is close to all our hearts and it brings out a lot of emotions in each dancer. During the shoot, to keep the sanctity of our devotion, I felt it was best not to serve non-veg food on the sets. My team welcomed the decision. Additionally, we also asked the troupes to remove their shoes on the set during this shoot of the song." said Remo D'Souza, the director.
Interestingly Remo recently shot a 'Hanuman' song for Salman Khan in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, while Ajay Devgn's Shivaay would have a song devoted to Lord Shiva. Spiritual times for Bollywood.
