20th Century Fox, who made their foray in the Hindi film circuit by co-producing EK HASINA THI with Ramgopal Varma and Ashok Bohra, have ambitious plans up their sleeve. To start with, besides distributing Pritish Nandy's JHANKAAR BEATS [releasing on June 20], Fox plans to continue with its distribution activities by releasing Nandy's MUMBAI MATINEE in July. In August, Fox plans to hold multiple premiere shows of EK HASINA THI much before its release. According to Aditya Shastri of Fox, plans are afoot to hold premiere shows of this Saif Urmila starrer in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. That's not all, for Fox plans to fly Sean Connery to Mumbai for the Indian premiere of THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN, which opens in the U.S. on July 11 and will be released in India on September 12. This film co-stars Naseeruddin Shah as Captain Nemo.
