After attempting a biggie like LAKEER [Sunny, Suniel, John, Sohail], producer Vicky Kumar is ready with his new film CHOORIYAN, a Hindi-Punjabi bilingual. Although Vicky has wrapped the entire shooting of this film -- it has been shot in Hindi and Punjabi simultaneously -- the enterprising producer has decided to add an item song to the two versions. The song has been penned, tuned and will be filmed on Sukhwinder in the coming week, with a fashion show in the backdrop. Another interesting development is that Vicky has plans to dub the film in Bhojpuri language, since the market of Bhojpuri films has increased by leaps and bounds. Meanwhile, Vicky has denied a news-report that his film is a remake of the Pakistani hit by the same name. Its not! Its a completely different subject, he states. Slated for October-end/mid-November release, CHOORIYAN stars Gracy Singh, Vinod Khanna and Sudhanshu Pandey in pivotal roles and is directed by Sukhwant Dhadda.
