Farah Khan's protege Geeta Kapur and the judge of the popular dance reality show Dance India Dance, Geeta Kapur recently got entangled in an accident case and got arrested for the same. However, reports suggest that now she is out on bail.
The choreographer was driving back to her Lokhandwala residence, when she rammed her car into a boy on a street in Versova last evening. However, Geeta soon called for an ambulance and the kid was immediately admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital nearby. Later, an FIR was registered against the actress and she was arrested by the Versova Police station. From what we hear, the boy who is currently in the hospital has fractured his right leg and now on his way to recovery.
On the other hand, according to Ravindra Pawar, Senior Police Inspector, Versova Police station, Geeta Kapur has been charged under Section 338 (Causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) and Section 279 (Rash driving or riding on a public way) of the Indian Penal Code. But, she was granted bail just a few hours after she was arrested today morning.
