The not-too-encouraging response to KUCH NAA KAHO notwithstanding, Ramesh Sippy is all set to start four projects in the coming months. While Vikram Bhatt, Milan Luthria and Sippy's son Rohan Sippy will direct a project each, the veteran director will also direct a film himself.
Rohan Sippy, who won immense praise for his directorial abilities in KUCH NAA KAHO, has plans of casting Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan in his next project. I have spoken to Mr. Bachchan for the film, Rohan enlightens me, But I am currently writing the script [with Saurabh Shukla] and once we're through with it, I'll narrate it to him.
Rohan sheds more light on the project, Amit-ji and Abhishek will play father-son in the film. Mr. Bachchan has essayed a wide variety of roles in his career, so I can't offer him something that looks like an extension of one of his earlier roles. One has to keep that in mind before approaching him.
Though Rohan doesn't have the exact date in mind about starting the project, he does admit that the film will roll around eight/ten months from now. But I'll make sure to wrap up the entire shooting within three-four months, he adds, That's the right way to make movies if one has to survive.
